Sleek i-Divine Good Girl Palette Swatches and Reviews

Yet another pretty palette from Sleek...the Good Girl palette was launched along with the Bad Girl palette as a limited edition. As the Bad Girl palette is still available online on the Sleek website, unfortunately the Good Girl palette isn't available anymore. But you might find it on ebay now. This palette is perfect for u if u Love Pink.

At first I wasnt going to buy this palette cuz i thought it was too pink for me...but when I went to buy the i-Divine Sparkle palette...I cudnt get my hands on the Sparkle palette but I saw the last Good Girl palette left and just then i decided that I wont let any Sleek palette get out of my hand s from then on.

Its been lying around my makeup collection since then....now i just realized what better time to use a pink palette other than the valentines day!!!...and with a new prospective this palette has become one of my favs :D

The palette has all kinds of shades from baby pinks, hot pinks, powder pinks, peachy pinks to beautiful pinky reds.

All the eyeshadows in this palette have been given names.
I have swatched my finger twice on the eyeshadow and twice on my arm without any primer underneath. See how pigmented they are...

Top row from Left to Right:
  1. Lychee
  2. Meringue
  3. Candy floss
  4. Lollipop
  5. Pinkpunch
  6. Cupcake

Bottom row from left to right:
  1. Strawberry sorbet
  2. Pink Grapefruit
  3. Peach melba
  4. Papaya
  5. Raspberry Coulis.
  6. Morello.
As many people have already suggested; the eyeshadows in this palette can also be used as  blushes but if u are adventurous u will try out looks with this palette....highly pigmented silky smooth eyeshadows just like always.
I tried creating this look for the valentines day and the blush i used was Scandalous from the Stiletto collection.

The eyeshadows I used are shown in this pic....Its such a shame that the lighting washed out the bright brilliant pinks and reds I used...I will be putting up a tutorial for this look soon so u'll get the idea how I did it.

Valentine's Day makeup Tutorial with Silver, Pinks and Purples.

Hi everyone here is the shimmery look I created for the valentines day. I used the 120 double stack eyeshadow palette for this look. This palette is available at www.coastalscents.com.

The eyeshadows I used from this palette are shown in the pic below.

For my face I used Kryolan TV paint stick in G16 and its translucent face powder. From the 42 double stack palette I used the hot pink blush which also available at www.coastalscents.com.

The bronzer (shade 2), cheek/lip highlighter (shade1 pearl) and for my brows the brown (shade 19 matte) eyeshadow I used were from MUA.

The mascara I used was the L'Oreal Double Extension with renewal serum in black.

By no means am I suggesting that you guys should go out and buy these products...I am just letting u guys know what products I used. You can create this look with any sort of eyeshadows and makeup you already own :)

Most of the pics I have taken myself but some of them have been borrowed from the internet.

Sleek i-Divine Bad Girl Palette Swatches and Reviews

Another absolutely stunning palette launched by Sleek is the BAD GIRL palette. It was launched along with the GOOD GIRL palette last year. The Good Girl palette has been discontinued but the Bad Girl palette is still available. If u cant get ur hands on it in Superdrug then u can always order it online from www.sleekmakeup.com.

From greens, blues, purples, grays, black to shimmery white highlighters... this palette has awesome colors which are perfect for smokey eye looks. Sweep one color on ur lid or mix them up they would look just as amazing. A perfect palette for those who dare to wear bold and dramatic looks. Those Rebel bad girl eyes will make anyone go crazy!

The eyeshadows in this palette have also been given names like the Good Girl and Sparkle palette.

The top row from left to right are Innocence, Gullible, Blade, Gun Metal, Underground, and Noir.

In the bottom row are from left to right Intoxicated, Envy, Obnoxious, Abyss, Twilight and Rebel.

All the eyeshadows are very pigmented and like always the formulation is very silky smooth and blendable and gives true to color payoff. Again the best way to apply them is with a damp shader brush.

Most of the eyeshadows are shimmery except Noir, Abyss and Rebel, which are matte. I tried this palette to create this look.

The eyeshadows i used for this look were Gunmetal, Blade, Twilight, Rebel and Gullible as a highlighter.

I highly recommend this palette for all those smokey eye junkies! :D

Swatches and reviews of E'tude Eyeshadow palette

E'tude eyeshadow palette is one of my most favorite palettes. The palette has 24 beautiful eyeshadows with silvers, golds, browns and nude and a black which is very important.

It is quite sturdy and the eyeshadows are not very delicate or easily breakable but of course you have to be careful not to drop them because they aren't invincible and wont be able to survive a bad fall.

1st row from left to right.

1. shimmery white.
2. silver
3. shimmery Grey
4. dark Grey with silver iridescent
5. blueish grey with silver iridescent
6. Matte black pay off is almost like MAC Carbon black eyeshadow.

2nd row left to right

1. sky blue + grey shimmery color
2. sky blue +silvery shimmery color
3. very vibrant Matte bright blue
4. a very beautiful brownish greenish color more like the color of dry henna but with an awesome shimmer to it...i love it!
5. it looks like matte green in the palette but its actually duo chrome...green with a pretty golden sheen...absolutely beautiful.
6. Matte lilac.

3rd row left to right...i love this row cuz its got awesome colors for Asian bridal, party makeup

1. very pigmented gold
2. two toned orangish gold
3. two toned pinkish gold
4. maroon burgundy shimmery color
5. brownish maroon shimmery color
6. beautiful matte bright purple color

4th row left to right....very pretty browns and nudes best for day time neutral looks

1. Matte dark brown with lots of gold iridescent
2. shimmery creamy brownish color very similar to MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow
3. Matte orangish brown
4. Matte nude brown
5. Matte pinkish nude color
6. The last color is very pretty skin color with slight shimmer...can be used as a highlight under the brow for a neutral day time look.

All the eyeshadows are very very pigmented...there is a variety of textures from shimmer to matte and iridescent. They are very vibrant and give nice color pay off even with out an eyeshadow primer....easily blend able. This one palette has so many pretty colors which help you get looks from smokey eyes, neutral, funky to bridal or party looks. The only down side i find in this palette is that it doesnt have a matte dark brown color so that I could use it to fill my eyebrows....but still I looooove this palette and I couldn't recommend it more!!!!

I have swatched my fingers twice on the eyeshadow and twice on my arm and i have applied NO primer at all underneath. I tried to get the pics to be true to color but of course they don't appear as vibrant as they are in reality. This palette is available at any big drug store in Pakistan... I got mine from Shaheen Chemist Rwp more than 4 years ago at that time it cost me around Rs.2000....i don't remember the exact amount it could be a little more or less.

Swatches and Review of E'Tude Blush Palette

This palette is a must have for all the makeup junkies....It has so many brilliant colors suitable for any skin tone but the palette is just perfect for the people with medium to dark skin who have a problem with the blushes because they don't show up so well on their skin....well here is their problem solved...this palette has a color for every occasion from light pink to peachy color for day time look...a shade for contour and dark berry pink and brownish maroon color perfect for weddings and night time party looks.

The palette casing is similar to the E'tude eyeshadow palette and the blushes come with a small flat blusher brush with soft bristles but i have never actually used it so i cant tell you if it is any good in applying blushes or not.

1st row from left to right:

1. first color is a warm peachy brown color in matte finish.
2. second is a warm pink color with a slight iridescent of gold and shimmer.
3. the third color in the first row is a matte contour color which can be used for fair to dark skin tones as its very pigmented to it can be used lightly for fair skin and can be built up for darker skin tones.

2nd row from left to right:

1. first in the second row is a light pink color with a slight shimmer and iridescent gold.
2. second is a warm bright pink in matte finish.

3rd row from left to right:

1. first in this row is a beautiful reddish brown in matte finish ideal for bridal looks.
2. second is a luke warm brown with an orange undertone and gold iridescent with a slightly shimmery finish.
3. last but not the least is a very pretty pale peach color with pinkish undertone...it looks like a compact powder but when u apply it, it gives a very light peachy pinky colour ...best for day time and neutral looks.

The palette has mixed textures and all the colors are very very pigmented...a tiny bit goes a long way so be very careful when applying these blushes. Sweep ur blusher brush over the blush and then tap off the excess before applying to your cheeks. Take my advice and start with a very little amount and then build it up as required. All the colors a very smooth and blend able and i don't find them very dusty so there wont be much of a fall out which is a great thing!

I am sorry about the swatch pics...they are awful and don't show true to color or the finish of the product but i couldn't get better pics on such a rainy day :( :(

I couldn't recommend these blushes more. They are easily available at any big drug store that carry cosmetics in Pakistan. I got mine from Shaheen Chemists the last time i visited Pakistan and i don't remember its price because i did Rs.8000 worth of shopping which my mom paid for ;) ;) bless her! ....but I am sure it will also be more or less Rs.1500- 2000. But I think that both these E'tude palette could be available for less at a cosmetics store...cuz i think Shaheen Chemist cost more for their shop :P

Kryolan TV Paint Stick and Other Products.

Kryolan TV Paint Sticks have been hugely famous in lots of parts of the world especially Asia. Kryolan makes Professional and theatrical Make-up and the company is based in Germany. The TV paint sticks come in more than 120 shades. The texture is very smooth which allows gentle make-up application that provides effective covering at the same time. It provides full coverage, the formulation is quite dense so if u apply just a little quantity perhaps it will give u medium coverage.

They are being used as a foundation by many beauticians for bridal makeup, reason being that they give such wonderful coverage and they are just perfect for photography and video making.

I have been using TV paint stick as my foundation for a long time because I like the finish it gives to my skin and as my skin type is a combination skin it doesn't let it become oily at all.

If you have an oily or combination skin this product is perfect for u but if u have a dry skin type then I wudnt suggest u go for this one. I have heard people complaining that its really difficult to work in the TV paint stick, that it get too dry or blotchy. Well the proper way to apply this foundation is to first moisturize ur face really well and wait for 5 mins. If u have combination to dry skin or u have uneven skin problem then do apply a good face primer all over ur face and the dry patches, then with a damp synthetic sponge wedge apply the foundation and blend well to prevent streaking.

The primer I am currently using is the L'Oreal Studio Secrets Professional smoothing resurfacing primer. Its a mousse like formulation and when applied it gives a very silky feel to the skin and allows a very smooth foundation application as it fills in the rough or dry patches on the skin.

I use the Kryolan Translucent powder to set my foundation in places my face gets oil...its a very finely milled powder with great absorbency power and its translucent so I wudn't have to worry about matching it with my foundation. It has a very light talc smell, which in not bad at all. The only problem I have with it is the packaging. Even though I like the fact that they made tiny holes in the inner lid for easy dispense of the powder but I wud have really liked something to close them up after every use, something better than just a sticker seal...which doest work really well after the powder has come out and stuck to it and the powder is every where...taking this along while traveling would be a very bad idea :(

Other Kryolan products I have used are the Aquacolors.....even thought some retailers in Pakistan sell them as an eyeliner...well its not actually...it is used for theatrical makeup for face and body. And can be applied with damp sponge or brush.
Well I use them as an eyeliner! cuz they are totally smudge proof once set but they can still be buffed with a finger. I also use them as eyeshadow base especially the black for dramatic smokey eye looks but the eyeshadow will only stick to them when they are still very slightly damp.

If you are just using it as an eyeliner it will last for years....I bought my black Aqua color pot almost 4 years ago and i havnt even made a dent in it :D

In Pakistan Kryolan TV Paint Sticks are available at any good makeup or drug store for the price around Rs.780, while in the UK I dont know any store which carries Kryolan cosmetics so i guess u'll have to order online where the prices are around £9.80.

The online price for the Kryolan Translucent powder is £10.34 for 60ml and in Pakistan I got it for Rs.990 2 years ago, it might be more or less these days.

The online price for a single Aquacolor is more or less £6 and from Pakistan I got it for Rs.360.

I bought the L'Oreal face primer for about £14.29 at Superdrug.
