Accessorize Cosmetics At Superdrug Swatches,Reviews and Lots of Pictures In Detail

Superdrug has to be one of my favorite places just because you can find great things for reasonable prices and among  those things are the Accessorize Cosmetics Range. Accessorize is a famous high street brand for accessories like jewelry, scarves, hand bags etc. Their cosmetics are only available at Superdrug or online on the Accessorize website. The whole range is divided into different categories "With Love", "Illusion", "Rock Star", "Je T'aime" and "Exotic Brights". The packaging is so pretty with the accessorize butterflies and flowers.

The first thing that mesmerizes you is their nail polish collection. Each category has their own selection of colors....I was so amazed cuz there were some colors I have never seen before...but then again I am not a big nail polish person. But I have to say that this is heaven for nail polish lovers... have a look and decide for ur self....

With Love. All nail polishes £4

Je T'aime

Exotic Brights

Illusion

Pink Spice and Mermaid Illusion collection.

Azlec (Illusion) Its  multi-toned with green, blue, purple, pink reflects

Face primer £9 , Highlighter£7, and Bronzer boxes£7 Lenghtening Mascara £5 With Love .

Highlighter is a pale gold and quite pigmented so u get a lot for the just  £7

There are two bronzer boxes one comes as a duo of bronzer and highlighter and the other is a bronzer blush combo in an animal pattern. The boxes resemble the benefit blush boxes.

Merged blushers £5.50 and Baked Bronzers £7 both domed shaded and very shimmery.

Bermuda baked bronzer

Merged Eyeshadows £4.50 and Eyeshadow Palettes with eye primer £6.00 Illusion Collection

Single Eyeshadows Illusion £4

Single Eyeshadows With Love £4

Merged Eyeshadows Rock Star £4.50

Jumbo Eye Cryon £3 and Neon Eye Dust £3 Exotic Colors

Eye Dust Rock Star Collection has very pastel colors £3

Lipstick £5 With Love collection. The colors are mostly dark reds, pinks and orange.

The packaging for the lipsticks is so divine with a diamante on the top.

The Illusion Diamond Lipgloss £4 has mostly light pinks and corals

The Rock Star squeezey tube lipglosses are more vibrant colors with purples, plums, pinks and orange £3

The Rock Star collection has the Mascara £5, Glitter Eye Liner £3, Liquid Eyeliners £3.50 and Nail Polishes £4.

The Glitter eyeliners are pretty good, the glitter is very finely milled but they are almost like the MUA glitter eyeliners which are for only £1.

Pick Up Line
The pigmetation of the eyeshadows is really awesome...just swatched twice on the pan and twice on my arm .

Rock Out

Vintage Rose Illusion

Truffle With Love

Sage Illusion

Chocolate Fondant Illusion

Last but not the least Rich Earth (With Love) is a duo chrome eyeshadow with green shimmer and warm brown undertones I though that it was a good dupe for MAC club.

...but then I went straight to the MAC counter and swatched Club and it flet so dry and even after so many swatches it looked like this...I dnt know may be it will apply better with a brush but it didnt impress me much. So I will go for the Rich Earth eyeshadow instead of this...cuz dats more smoother, creamier and prettier.

This is Satin Taupe by MAC and I think Truffle by Accessorize is a good dupe for it.

All the accessorize eyeshadows are really silky smooth and very pigmented...felt really soft n fine on the skin and I was really impressed. Why would I go buy expensive makeup when I can get good quality for a reasonable price. I have tried and tested and wore these eyeshadows for more than 7 hours they dnt crease and stay vibrant. The only negative point, I personally feel with this range is that there is no eyeshadow, blush or bronzer matte....everything is shimmery but still I cudnt recommend this makeup range more.

Sleek Scandalous Blush Reviews and Exciting news about the Sleek Spring 2011 Launch

Sleeks exciting Stiletto Collection for the valentine's Day is so hot and sizzling with bright Red Lips, blush and Nails.

When I saw that luscious red blush I knew I had to have it...
Its a brilliant red and really really pigmented so u have to be very careful in not to over do it. A tiny bit goes a long way and gives a very pretty naturally flushed or blushed look to the cheeks. But if u over do it...then u'll just look like a doll with red round spots on the cheeks.

It is quite a bold color and obviously not for the faint hearted from what it looks like in the pan....but believe me its so pretty...its a must have in ur makeup collection...so be brave and dare to wear this amazing blush.

This is how it looks without the flash.

This is how it looks with the flash.

The most exciting news of the day is that Sleek is launching an i-Divine Primer palette...this palette Not, as it instantly comes in the mind to be in nude/skin colors. No this palette has 12 different colored creamy eyeshadow bases from blues, to red, bronze and purples...

Sleek Makeup launched this palette at the IMATS ( International Make-up Artist Trade Show) held in London on 29th, 30th January 2011...which is one of the biggest event in the makeup Industry.
The palette will be in the shops on 16th February 2011 for the retail price of £6.99. So dont miss out...I know I wont.

And another surprise is also on the way in March 2011 as Sleek will be launching another limited edition eyeshadow palette called the i-Divine Paraguaya along with a pout polish in Sugar May and a blush called Pan Tao. The whole set is called Avoir la Peche Collection. With loys of warm peachy, nudey colors...

This collection will be launched on 16th March 2011 and will be selling the eyeshadow palette for £6.49 and the pout polish and blush for £4.29 each.
So be ready to make a run for it as it will be a limited edition!

Last two pics have been borrowed from the internet.

Sleek i-Divine Good Girl Palette Swatches and Reviews

Yet another pretty palette from Sleek...the Good Girl palette was launched along with the Bad Girl palette as a limited edition. As the Bad Girl palette is still available online on the Sleek website, unfortunately the Good Girl palette isn't available anymore. But you might find it on ebay now. This palette is perfect for u if u Love Pink.

At first I wasnt going to buy this palette cuz i thought it was too pink for me...but when I went to buy the i-Divine Sparkle palette...I cudnt get my hands on the Sparkle palette but I saw the last Good Girl palette left and just then i decided that I wont let any Sleek palette get out of my hand s from then on.

Its been lying around my makeup collection since then....now i just realized what better time to use a pink palette other than the valentines day!!!...and with a new prospective this palette has become one of my favs :D

The palette has all kinds of shades from baby pinks, hot pinks, powder pinks, peachy pinks to beautiful pinky reds.

All the eyeshadows in this palette have been given names.
I have swatched my finger twice on the eyeshadow and twice on my arm without any primer underneath. See how pigmented they are...

Top row from Left to Right:
  1. Lychee
  2. Meringue
  3. Candy floss
  4. Lollipop
  5. Pinkpunch
  6. Cupcake

Bottom row from left to right:
  1. Strawberry sorbet
  2. Pink Grapefruit
  3. Peach melba
  4. Papaya
  5. Raspberry Coulis.
  6. Morello.
As many people have already suggested; the eyeshadows in this palette can also be used as  blushes but if u are adventurous u will try out looks with this palette....highly pigmented silky smooth eyeshadows just like always.
I tried creating this look for the valentines day and the blush i used was Scandalous from the Stiletto collection.

The eyeshadows I used are shown in this pic....Its such a shame that the lighting washed out the bright brilliant pinks and reds I used...I will be putting up a tutorial for this look soon so u'll get the idea how I did it.
